The Löwe Athletics program is a wholistic strength and conditioning program that focuses on building general physical preparedness (GPP). I workout so that I can do whatever I want: Go out, play sports, learn new things. Having that GPP allows me to take on new challenges. Exercise is not my life. I exercise so that I can have a life…and be awesome at it. Each day the workout will test a different part of your functional strength or conditioning, not specializing in one particular thing, but rather with the goal of building a body that’s capable of practically anything and everything.
Why start with an On-Ramp?
Each new Löwe athlete MUST start with the On-Ramp program or our Endurance program before starting the CrossFit classes.
We offer a very comprehensive 1 on 1 "On Ramp" program designed to help new athletes learn about our CrossFit program. If you would describe yourself as any of the following, then the "On Ramp" Program is right for you, and you MUST COMPLETE either the On-Ramp program or Endurance Program before joining our Crossfit track classes:
-You are starting your first fitness program.
-You are just starting a fitness program after a long period of inactivity.
-You exercise regularly, but have no previous experience.
-You have previous experience, but have taken at least 6 months off.
-You workout on your own regularly, but you do so without a coach.
-You want to gain a thorough understanding of CrossFit fundamentals.
How do I start the On-Ramp?
Our On-Ramp Program starts with a one-hour one on one session offered at your convenie throughout the week. This class will teach you the three foundation exercises. – the squat, the deadlift, and the press. The second 1 hour session will go over the more complex barbell movements along with gymnastic skills.
How long will the On-Ramp take?
The On-Ramp Program is designed to be completed after 2 classes in a week.
When is the On-Ramp offered?
At your convenience throughout the week. Call or email to make an appointment.
What if I miss a class?
Life happens, and missing a class is a reality that some of our athletes face. We want our On-Ramp athletes to be completely comfortable with “all” of the movements before graduating to the daily WODs. So if you have to miss a class, and its make-up day, you can schedule another private session to make up for the absence at no additional cost. Private session rates can be found on our Programs and Membership page, and we are very flexible towards your schedule!
How much does it cost?
The On-Ramp fee is a one-time fee in addition to the monthly membership fee. Please check out our Programs and Membership page to find the membership that is right for you!
